Design of control systems for a 6km conveyor belt, transferring coal from a drift mine to the surface. Eventually feeding a power station.
Incorporating all emergency stops along the conveyor, using intelligent belt systems to identify belt tears and the location along the belt.
3x380kW 3300V motors were used to drive the conveyor with belt tensioners and alignment equipment.
